A short motion graphic advertisement created for the Atlanta Science Festival's Coffee Extraction Science event, an evening exploring the chemistry and precision behind brewing the perfect cup. The animation blends bouncy vector illustration with a jazz-driven rhythm to bring coffee extraction science to life, guiding viewers through the journey from whole bean to brewed cup.  The goal was to excite both coffee lovers and science enthusiasts while capturing the fun, accessible spirit of the Festival.

Styleframes

The styleframes reflect a palette rooted in earthy tones of deep browns, muted tans, and soft creams to evoke the richness of coffee while giving the event a refined, adult-facing sensibility. The lineless, flat illustration style keeps the visuals clean and uncluttered, letting color and shape do the heavy lifting. This approach also gave the motion more room to breathe, ensuring the information itself remained the focal point throughout.
